Some great etiquette tips for anyone planning a wedding.

It's definitely a great idea to create a gift registry page on your wedding website. You can upload all the items you want without mentioning it right off the bat in your wedding invitation.

Hi Leela,

I see it's been a while since your post... did you find a solution to your problem? I'm in pretty much the exact same situation and looking for some suggestions.

Can you help me with wording for my daughters upcoming wedding. Her first marriage ended with a death not a divorce and she has a two year old that they are going to include in the ceremony be presenting a necklace from the groom so my daughter would likek to include her daughter on the invitation, she is also going to be walking her mom down the aisle, that is if she co operates If you could give us some idea in wording we would appreciate it. Thanks Linda Clark mother of the bride

I have a tricky situation. My fiance and I are paying for half the wedding, my mom and step-dad are contributing and so are his parents. My dad is not contributing and I would rather not have him take credit. I was thinking of saying "our names" together with "my mom and step dad" and "his parents" request the pleasure of your company at their marriage, etc. Would I still need to include my Dad's name somewhere on the invitation? Any suggestions?

So here's the deal. I am the groom. My mom is hosting the vast majority of the wedding, my dad is hosting a much smaller portion. Unfortunately, my bride's parents are not in a position to contribute. All of our parents are divorced. My mom is the only one remarried. Let me know if you have a solution to this one!!!

Thanks,
