I read this book before writing a best man toast for a wedding in September 2007. I paid only $5.54 and it was a great investment. The book is amusing and an easy read. I started with assorted notes and memories of the groom and the book taught me how to shape it into a successful toast. The simple directions and the sample toast will give you confidence.

I also purchased and read Your Special Wedding Toasts by Sharon Naylor, which I recommend as well. For both books, you only need to read about 40 pages to cover your particular situation.

By reading the book and following the outline included for preparing a good toast, my best man toast was the best. The book gave me the confidence and necessary preparation to deliver a toast that was witty, personal and funny. It also allowed me to sound like I was ad libbing which wasn’t the case at all.

The book is easy to read and a must read for anyone who will be giving a wedding toast.
